Tabla Retreat 2016

As a part of Ritesh Das’ commitment to providing outstanding and in depthtraining opportunities in the north Indian classical performing arts, this weekend ‘away’ retreat has been created to provide tabla students a rich and intense arts experience.
It will be a chance for students to concentrate solely on artistic development and learning, while building stronger relationships with the teachers and other students.

This intensive will also provide a greater understanding of the arts’ histories, cultures and practice through formal and informal discussion. In addition, students will be provided with tools to develop refined methods of personal practice (riyaz).
