Pioneers of Collaboration
Shanti was a band which in my teen years inspired me. My brother Pandit Chitresh Das first gave me a cassette recording of them from California early 70’s. I was in grade 7. I never had the opportunity to see them live. Here is Asshish da Ali Akbar Khansabs son, Zakir Bhai and Pranesh da in their very young age.
